Do they also charge if you dont sell an item ? if so, what % do they take for unsold items ?

In my past ebay sales, by the time you figure ebay fees, paypal fees and shipping fees, it ends up being about 10% of what the item sold for.

They take approximately 5 1/4% when you sell an item. If it does not sell, they don't take a percentage, but you still have to pay the listing fees, which are not a lot, and are based on your starting price. The e-Bay website explains it all. Read everything carefully before you start. (By the way, the Seller does NOT pay shipping fees, as the previous answer suggests. Shipping fees are to be paid by the buyer.)
