That's a very tough call. Both have their great qualities. I love the Beaumont series because it takes place in Seattle. I went to school just off Queen Anne and now live across the water. It is fun to read the books because I have been to all the places in the books.

I really like Brady. She is easy to relate to and her problems seem so real. I find myself quickly caught up in the plot line.

So, I guess, I would have to say I like then both equally. I am currently reading the latest Beaumont...

I've read only one of her books, the latest in the Brady series, but found it fascinating and very well written. It also kept my interest throughout. The big "surprise," if you can call it such, was that there didn't seem to be any "hidden gotchas" anywhere. The story involved good old fashioned detective work, sifting through clues and keeping after it under difficult conditions. The most "human" part of it was that throughout the book you were also treated to Joanna Brady's personal life and how that impacted on the choices she and others made. Very well done!
