Pussycat Dolls. Why do we need so many girls?

Question

First of all. I really like most of their songs that came out on the radio and on MTV. However, what i dont really get is why there's 6 of them? Why do they need 6 freakin girls when only 1 actually do all the singing? I understand that in groups there's a lead singer and such but I never thought that the lead singer gets to sing all the songs. I mean the other 5 girls are pretty much there as back up dancers. Do they get the peace of the pie when millions of dollars come in? I mean Nicole is the lead singer and she should get the rest of the money. I justs dont get it. I end up watchin other videos of them and still Nicole is the only one singing. Those other 5 girls seem so useless. Boys II men are legends in terms of singing group and all 4 guys sang (well except the other guy who is the based and only talks) but atleast they all do some work. Even though i like all their hotness and sexiness, I think Nicole should do solo albums cus seems like she's the only one with talent.

I completely agree..and you know what else is dumb..those back up girls aren't actually singing on the CD! If you look at their cd closely you'll discover that Nicole does all back ups as well as lead. She recorded herself like 5 times. Those other girls are just there to make Nicole look better. I also agree its all about publicity. But oh well, it seems to me Nicole will probably be cutting the rest of the dolls loose soon anyways..I mean have you heard all the new collaborations she is doing lately with the big name guys?

You're right. Nicole is the front person and does all of the lead vocals. They are all sexy as you said. But they are a singing group! Being sexy isn't enough! They need to sing. The other girls are glamour back up singers and dancers! I heard that they all started out as a burlesque dance group. That's fine but it's time to break up the group and let Nicole go solo. She's done other projects without the other Pussycat Dolls. I guess even she's realizing that she has to make a move!

I agree Nicole is the best singer...but i did hear in an interview she had she is working on a solo album..can't wait for it to come out!

do you really need to ask this question? i think you should be able to derive an answer for yourself out of your own paragraph.....one has talent and the other five are just eye candy. why have one when you can have six and still have a song? that's how you sell records, right? "here girls, someone wrote this song, it's about how hot you guys are. you...you can sing, right? okay, sing this....the rest of you shake your asses. millions." you like their songs.....

Spice females--i'm continually one for the unique. Plus, they by no potential replaced their females and characteristic anybody sharing the spotlight. i do not recognize any of the PCD to boot Nicole and that i pay interest to their song too. My fav spice female is between sporty and scary. My fav feline doll is Nicole for obtrusive motives lol.
