It was confusing!
Immediately after the Hellenistic times, people were trying to figure out what is the Truth! The Roman Empire did not want to adopt fully the Greek ideas and ideals, thus they were searching for new in order to create the New World Order!
Since the Romans never reached the Greeks and parallel they did not want to continue on the Greek achievements, they were destroying what they could and introduce a devastating system which led to Christianity!

i guess its what ive been doing over the past five years imean dont you think that in millions of years when the wgholeee 19-05 thing is found that people will believe this is there year 7 or o7 and that were marking our computers because were so far ahead to telll how long our research had led us to think itll breakdown and that we wanna see if were correct and that we just had the 100 year stuff survived because of what the other stuff was made of it all got thrown out or destroied on purpose

after they think everyone has always kept trac of time they not gonna believe that someone would put 19-07 on something if some ones gonna wanna know where it came from later even if some one started keeping track of it because if people just make stuff up bcuse they found something like a pot and everyone has to beklive it

isnt there only one way to use a pot and no one would have to make it up because everyone would know all about it when they saw it

i believ that when people were the only ones doing stuff and making pots to drink out of theyd stay some where for a wweeek or to and make a lot thats all they would do why would they go somewhere if they were going to die ther and theyd go some where else to see if they got any knew isdeas dont you think that that makes sene more than just guess ing what everyone else is guessing

Slavery was accepted. Slaves were taken as spoils of war.

Military conquest was the order of the day. There was no such thing as "Oh the Romans are OPRESSING us" (Hate the way Hollywood put that sort of stuff into films) - thats 20th Century stuff. The victor took the spoils and the vanquished put up with it and fought as best they could to defeat those who'd conquered them.

Military might and prowess were very important.

Most people were pagan.

Rome was the most powerful entity in the Western world.
