do contact lenese expire? and what happens to them after?

unopened contacts will last in their solution until the expiration date. If they have been opened and are in your own solution, yes they will expire much quicker. They curl up in a ball like and stick.

I wear monthly disposables. They have an expire date on them and shouldnt be used after this date. Its not wise to use them after this your eyes are very sensitive.

unopened contacts can last in their solution for at least 7 years. only if they are not opened though!
