So there is nothing wrong with your parents who are willing to foot your bills so you can get a decent education and have a chance at a good life? But you want to throw it all away for some guy that will toss you to the curb in a few years anyway, probably after you have his first kid and he sleeps with your best friend while you are pregnant? Life is not easy and being an adult is about responsibilites not fun & games. Being on your own means paying rent, utilities, car payments, food, and on and on and you don't do that on minimum wage. Don't trash your future for a temporary high in youth. Don't you watch TV, do you think all the woman on these court shows & talk TV are making those stories up? And yes it can happen to you if you let a man determine your future.Don't think for a second he won't bolt when you stop being cute & fun and leave you stuck as a single mom struggling on welfare for the rest of your life.

Unfortunately jobs in America are very evolved and only very low skilled, low paying jobs will be available to a high school drop out. You will most likely face a life of poverty and homelessness after that roommate situation ends but hopefully love will compensate for that poverty.
You could stay at home, get educated enough where you won't have to scrounge garbage cans to eat but again,
I am sure that with love, you won't mind being cold in the winter (heat and coats are expensive), eating very light and maybe you'll find some cheap rooms for rent the rest of your life. You won't be able to afford medical care so try to avoid alcohol and junk food and stuff like that because doctors are expensive, but hopefull you won't get too cranky with each other just because you are cold or hungry or tired from working 2 low paying jobs each so you can afford some rent & a dry place to sleep.
As soon as you figure out the job situation and get a couple of jobs lined up (for each of you), the emancipation thing should come pretty naturally.

"Ohio has no emancipation law. Neither a minor (< 18) nor the minor's parent is able to file a petition for emancipation.
A minor can achieve independence from a parent in two ways:
1. Lawful marriage; or
2. Successful enlistment in any branch of the Armed Forces.
However, in the event of divorce or annulment, or discharge from the Armed Forces before the age of 18, custody of the minor will automatically revert to the parent who previously had custody over the minor."

With no good reason, no judge is going to grant your request against the wishes of your parents.
The legal system is no forum for a spoiled brat to try and override their parents.
Get over it and listen to your mom and dad - they raise you, like it or not, because they care.

I'm sure your parents will have to be involved. You'll need to talk to an attorney. Sorry!
