when ever there is music no matter what it is you feel like you have to move your body.......why?

Dancing is exression through movement. People dance because they want to express themselves. Not every music "speaks" to me though - some of it makes me want to turn it off.

People dance from early human time!
By music, our senses are receiving the invitation to participate in a social action. Most of us, when the music goes on, we feel dancing. Some don't; mostly because they are feeling participating like by singing, or playing some instrument, etc.
Also, the words associate with memories, happy or sad, that lead us to take out of ourselves our passions!

When a girl wants to dance, a girl wants to dance! Sometimes she just feels the need to express herself. (People love that commercial for some reason.) Anyway, humans are perpetually restless. As someone who practices Buddhist meditation, I believe it's actually harder to sit still for any length of time than it is to climb a mountain.

It depends on music. Classical doesn't make me want to move. It is the pulsing of the drums. The strong beat that you cannot fight it just posseses you.

Why do people need to drink water or eat food ?
It is life on planet earth, why ? would be intuitive knowledge . . . but it is a good indication that someone is curious about the nuances . . . go for it !
