since the ps3 is out will the ps2 go out just like the ps and psone. what will happen. will all the games be cheap and next thing you know it completly disappear?

I think that the ps2 will stay out for quite a while now because i was reading on this site that the ps3 cannot play some older games on the ps2. So now i do not know if i am gonna buy the ps3 now since it cannot play ps2 games because i want to keep my ps2 games and i thought that i would be able to sell my ps2 system and just play the ps2 games on the ps3 but now i see that it cannot play them so that really sucks. They should really bring the price down on it too.

well since like at least half of the worlds gamers have a ps2 and the ps3 is so expensive and there wont be many of them (this year), i would bet that ps2 games will keep coming out. maybe in a couple years when most people have a 360 it will disappear, but for now, its here to stay

Might be, you will still see the PS2 in other countries, but people will rather play the PS2, PSX in their new PS3, remember the console can play backwards, it can play old games too, so I guess people will stop purchasing the old systems, but will maybe keep buying the games.
