how long ago did you replace the brakes? if you have no leaks you should never have to add liquid. when you get new brakes the break fluid reservior should be at MAX/Full, after sometime it should go down to the MINIMUM line which would be an indicater that you need breaks. and yes you will have to push the breaks in deeper when your breaks are near gone.

if it has servo assted brakes it's going to be leaking into the servo thats that massive element on the tip of your grasp cylinder appears like a around tank you are able to tell if its fillng up with fluid by potential of pressing the foot brake and beginning the automobile the brake pedal could bypass down an prolonged way if it do'nt then there's a reliable possiblety that it somewhat is filling up with fluid substitute your grasp cylinder sorry with regards to the spelling

Try pumping brake pedal, if brake pedal comes up (doesn't go down as far), you have air in your system.
If you have a Midas Muffler, they'll inspect it for free (at least in my area).

It's probably your master cylinder - at least that the first thing to check. It's a pretty classic example of how they go out.

Take the car for a brake inspection.

Sound like you need new rotators, and pads.

I had the same thing. .

Take it very 'soon'.
