Perhaps someone makes you feel that way, yes?
Your name in here implies you lack self confidence and perhaps your question, is motivated by someone else's view of you, as well?
Remove yourself for a while from whoever makes you feel you talk too much... and go where people will appreciate you more.
When you feel less pressured by them, surprisingly, you'll slow down inside and share conversation in a positive way, and discover you are both listening and talking... and that, is real communication, when you are not having to chide yourself inside, and we only do this because of thoughtless people who need control.
A chatty person is a friendly one, and if you'd shared a home with the moody, silent, angry AS people, that I've shared with for over thirty years, you'll understand, that the silent people, who tell you to shut up, really have the problems! To hide nehind their masks of insecurity, they'll try to put you down every time you speak, don't let them!
Go and find a group of extroverts instead;-)

No.
If you want to win an argument you have to listen to your opponent who will provide you with all the ammunition you need in his/her rage.
If you want to express love, you must listen to your lover's expressions of love to understand what it is they consider to be love.
And if you just want to be downright sarcastic, there's nothing like rephrasing an idiot's mistakes to give you a smug sense of self satisfaction.
The cleverest person in the room is probably the one who lets everybody else speak first... it's because they are listening to the multiple facets of the problem in order to acheive a complete success, or honourable comprimise.

actually no. I sometimes refuse to listen when someone else is talking or my mind wanders but I'm not talking. I'm just not that interested in what the other person is saying.
I'm not interested in winning arguments or anything like that. I would just like people to hush every so often.

I try my hardest not to do that, thought I think at times we can all be a little bit guilty of it, I'm a really good listener for the most part.

I don't think they know how. But it's funny to listen to them and notice how foolish they are.
Some of us timid people need to open up and speak.
But we know the benefits of humor.
