You should be able to solve this very easily.
Put the x from the left with the x on the right.
Like this:
-3x = 2x +15 (to figure out X, we have to have all the xs on one side of the equation. So we subtract 2x from both sides)
-3x -2x = 2x + 15 - 2x
This gives us
-5x = 15
Divide by five.
-x = 3
Then divide by negative 1 (because -x is the same as -1 times x)
-x/-1 = 3/-1
x = -3

-3x = 2x + 15
-3x - 2x = 15
-5x = 15
x= 15 / -5
x = -3.
because:
-3(-3) = 2(-3) + 15
9 = 9.
