There are lots of software programs that do just that thing, but the ones we use are Spyware Doctor and Ad Aware. Spybot is also a great one to use. Each one of these is available in a free version by looking up their websites and downloading their free version. Hope this helps!

For spyware, download Spybot: Search & Destroy.
For adware, download AdAware.
Both of them are free downloads on www.download.com

i use win anti spyware 2006 and AVG 7.5 and they do a good enough job. Im a bugger for gamin online and stuff so i need the antispyware stuff!

oh, yeah. Ive got zone alarm and Ccleaner too.
ewido is good as well but i dont use it now.

You can download 'ewido' free from the Internet. It is excellent and will do the job. You can also buy yourself a Zone Alarms package. Good luck.

you should have a virus protection that is on your pc. Download http://avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html#DownloadAvastHomeEdition. which is a great virus protection and free. Also download http://www.microsoft.com/security/malwareremove/default.mspx. Download an run these programs. Good luck. Mikie.
