vertical stripes make you look slimmer. horizontal stripes accentuate your size. (aka make u look wider) and paisley is good on anyone. if the zebra stripes go veritcallly, then go with the zebra and black. black is slimming but a little boring....zoot it up with some bright jewelery and accesories. e-mail me:

Stay away from whites and pastels. They make you look bigger. Black is always slimming, especially if it hits just below the knee or just above it. Wraps are good because they give you a waist. Anything that gives you a waist is good, like if it has a belt/sash. Don't do anything frilly or too patterned if it's over a spot that you don't want to attract attention to. Halter tops are usually good for plus-size women. But most importantly, don't listen to the jerks who think it's helpful to answer your question by making rude remarks. I'm sure you'll look beautiful!

I would stay away from big or busy patterns. Stripes are slimming as long as they are up and down and not to thick. Black is a slimming color anyways but I'd personally avoid wrap dresses I don't like the way they seem to bunch if your at all big. The important thing is to find something you like and your comfortable in and ignore rude people! Be proud of yourself honey and you'll look beautiful in anything!

I am in Women's' Large.
Some of us can't help being over weight. I am on medication that as long as I take it I will be overweight. (for know it all skinny, you will not always be so, if nature lets you live.)
Now!
Black is always slimming. If you wear black to a wedding, I am not sure if this is courser. Like one lady said grey is a great neutral color. ALWAYS go with a solid or very, very, small print. If you go solid spice it up will the right jewelry or scarf. Medium heels.

Large, bold patterns can make us goddess-figured women look even larger, so you have to be careful. Vertical stripes can be slimming, avoid horizontal stripes at all costs. If you can find it, an outfit that's darker on the sides and lighter in the center is very slimming.
Not all plus size figures are the same, and a style that looks good on one may not look good on another; your best bet would be to try on clothes in person to find styles and patterns that suit you, then take that knowledge to the internet.

I'm just leaving the plus sized clothes, but I always found that smaller patterns look better on me than big ones. When you go shopping, try on different patterns and see how they look. You'll know if they aren't right for you.

How plus sized? i replaced right into a length 20 and by no potential had a very round abdomen. Maternity cloths helped to cover it, yet I continually had what I said as a "B" abdomen because fairly of a valuable round "D" I had a "B". yet no human being ever said...if that makes you experience more effective. you purely might want to recognize in case you touched it.

parallell stripes make u look taller and it sometimes slimer too...try a strapless dress that had a design or rhinetsones or something on the top so it flatters your upperbody more
