I don't think in terms of men vs. women for leadership. It's whomever gets the job done right. Men can be terrible leaders as well as good leaders. We've all seen it happen. Well, so can women. A good leader is not based on the fact whether they are male or female, it is whether they can get the job done effectively. In my job I've seen both male and female leaders. Some men were great, others not so much. Some women were great, others not so much. It has been proven time and again though, that women can make successful leaders in the business world just as much as men.

I could be wrong but I was under the distinct impression the good leadership was the result of good decision-making qualities.Let's face it, by and large we end up with the leaders whom we have chosen, rather than ones thrust upon us. If the majority pick a person of one gender over that of another, then who is to blame? I work in one of the most "Female-oriented" professions on the planet (Nursing) and the days of being promoted to lead due to time served are well and truely over. There is no such thing as a "glass ceiling" there is just a lack of available opportunities for advancement. Ask anyone (man) who has been passed over for a promotion due to a positive fmale bias or a politically correct managerial decision.

Not good leaders, great leaders! I believe women are viewed as almost equal as men in the business world.I think women make very effective leaders, one of the reasons is that we tend to be very intuitive which is great for all fields of work.

There are women who already are good leaders. Just like there are men who are good leaders.

Yes, definitely.
1. They are less shallow, they capacity for attention is bigger and they pay more attention to details.
2. They are good listeners and actually care.
3. Their ego isn't a priority, therefore they would care less about the competitive side of the situation they're involved in and they would be able to focus more the natural concept.

In some instances yes, but that is the exception to the rule. Women mostly base their judgement off emotion and not logical reasoning.
