Babe Ruth played for Boston Red Sox. He was then traded to the New York Yankees. He was so mad that he threw his piano into the water. By doing this, fans say, he put a curse on the Boston team. (This is why for so many years, you'd see "Reverse the Curse" during playoff games). In 2004, when the Sox finally won the World Series, people tried to look for the piano that Babe Ruth threw into the water and couldn't find it. Well, anyway, the"Curse of the Babe" was reversed in 2004 when we won the Series. I also think this is the major reason for the rivalry between the Red Sox and the Yankees...(I'm not sure about it, but that's what I've been told)
