I hate mine. I just get so nervous. I worry about death. I want to end my life. I feel like giving up. I can't stand going to school. I just feel like going crazy because I can't take it anymore

So you think your life is bad? You hate your life?

I was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. I have been poor all of my life. I even lived in motel rooms with my parents and brother when i was younger because we had nowhere else to live. we were also homeless at one time. Up until a year ago i lived in a apartment where someone got shot everyday. i went to a poor school.

My father is on heroin, crack, and used to steal from us up until i left home which was a little over a year ago.
My mother is basically dependent on methadone pills and no matter what we try to tell her she wont stop taking them.
Right now i am in the New Orleans area. I have no friends here (except for one who is in jail right now), i am struggling to save up money for college cause my parent couldnt save me up money, and i am basically alone.

But all of what has happened to me, and the fact that i have no one, i am still happy. You know why? because things could be a LOT worse. Look at all those starving kids in Ethiopia. Look at the children with no arms or limbs in Iraq. No matter what you go through, there will soon be a light at the end of the tunnel. Things will not be that way for you always. It may be hard for you but i promise that in the end, you will look back and see that whatever you are going through will only make you a stronger person.

Sometimes I hate my life. I guess everyone of us at one point in time hate our lives. No matter how people try to convince themselves their life is perfect, somehow, deep inside, they still fell the emptiness inside. They still don't have answers to some questions. But some people move on and others choose to dumb themselves and end it all.

I am in my thirties and I still do not have the specific answer why I am here in this world. If I try to worry myself not having a specific answer I know I will go crazy. So I came up with the best answer: I am here on earth on purpose - God's purpose. I will not try to ask what purpose is it anymore. I just let God's hands guide me in the direction that He wants to bring me. Life can be difficult but it can also be easy. It is just a matter of choice. Yes, sometimes I do hate my life. And at one point, I have also thought about giving up and ending it all. But I realized that entertaining these thoughts is heavier than letting it all pass and moving on and enjoying everything that I have though little it all seems to me. Life is short. We will all die anyway. Why not make the most out of the short life that we are given. Please don't give up. Whatever it is that is bothering you always have an answer.

It is part of growing up. Most everyone feels that way at one time or another. If it persist you need to get professional help. "Why are you alive?" You never know but when you get older and look back you will be able to see much that you have done. It may not make a difference to the world but if it does make a difference to just one then you are important.

I am crazy in a figurative sense.That's one thing that keeps me sane.One lesson I learned long ago.Try not to worry about what you can't change.We're all going to die man.Just don't waste the time that you have worrying about it.
School will pass,you'll gain more confidence over time and not be so nervous.
You're alive to enjoy life while helping others do the same.Get help if this doesn't pass.Talk to friends and loved ones until then,but get some help or medication.It'll pass if you don't let it win.

Better the devil you know than an angel you don't know. Many people don't like their lives but they are here, why? Because this is what they know and feel. You don't know anything about death. No one has been there and back and actually given the true experience of it. Those that die never come back. It could be sweet it could be the worst nightmare. Just live the best of life. It is always sweet to see the light of the sun.

Actually, I attempted suicide once. I remember feeling even more like a failure afterward because I couldn't even do that right.

I hated my life when I was in college: few friends, lots of social codes, too many mixed signals, and still had to get the work done.

I hated my life when I was married: not attentive enough, not tidy enough, not motivated enough, couldn't get anything right.

I hated my life when I couldn't find a job in my field. I hated my life when I finally did find a decent job that had absolutely nothing to do with my field.

But somehow, I keep going. And you will too.

Once...way back...but realized that cowards think like that. Life is meant to be lived and experienced....even if its difficult.

Look around you..you will find people who are in worse situations than you are....everyone has problems dear and we all deal with our problems.

Never give up or think about dying.

Don't take life for granted...its a gift..make the best use of it!

When I was a teenager, I truly believed I was here to bring chaos and misery to those around me. (couldn't get along with my mother).

Then I grew up!!

You are just wandering now, focus, and remember happiness comes from within!!
