Are men so scarce that you can't find one without a criminal record? Why are you prejudiced against people who are responsible, mature, law-abiding, job-having citizens? What you should do is leave the loser. You will help the gene pool of humanity if you don't get pregnant by this guy.

You can't force him to let you help. I'm not sure what kind of help he needs, but you could mention that he should talk to his parole officer....Good Luck......

if he doesn't want to better himself how can you better yourself by being with him.
