I remember watching the first one , it was the same year that princess diana got married. both weddings were beautiful. I was in seventh grade and i remember the teacher bringing in the tv that day to school so everyone could see it.

yeah. unfortunately she went through so much afterwards, that she should have been hospitalized in a psychiatric facility. that's when i stopped watching it ~ the reality of it being UNREALISTIC settled in!

I was probably around 2 years old, so no I don't remember. I'm sure I could probably see it aired over and over on that Soap Opera channel, but I'm not into soap operas. Well, I did watch Days of Our Lives once in awhile back in the day, only cause they had some MESSED UP story lines. I think it was when some lady was possessed by the devil? LOL.

No I only seen it when unfortunately she passed away. They showed it after her death. Ever since I have learned a lot about the woman she was and the symbol she represents. She was a great lady and very caring with everybody. I love that one of her sons is doing what his mom loved to do with many poor people. May she Rest In Peace.

I didn't give a crap about it 25 years ago and couldn't give a bigger crap about it now. I hope you mean the teacher brought the TV in for Diana's wedding. If it was for a soap opera then I have lost all faith in the priorities of the educational system.

Yes, I remember. I remember when she was with Scott Baldwin and when Luke raped her. Due to working though, I missed what happened that caused her to be in a mental institution. In fact, I didn't know she had a daughter until recently. I would like to catch up on it though.

No. I was three. I have seen the Royal wedding, my grandmother recorded that and showed it to me years later. I don't watch soaps, so I didn't see the one this year either.

Yepper, remember it well. We used to watch it during our lunch break and became so hooked on it that we had t-shirts made saying "I love GH, good head, good housekeeping and General Hospital". Hope I don't get reported but we really did....

yes- I was in college and working afternoons. A buddy and I were late for work due to watching the wedding. We were both hot for Laura and hoped she wouldn't marry trhe bum!!!!
