Try the Pacific Coast Trail. It starts in San Diego County and ends in Washington. It takes an experienced hiker 6 mos. Happy trails!!

You start at the foot of the trail. There are fees if you camp in actual camp grounds otherwise if you just pitch your tent in the forest, it's free. There will be charges for parking, so make sure your car is somewhere secure.
