Consensus says deafness is not as bad
I would rather be blind!
It would be lonely and darker without my ears!
Couln't hear a persons coming,I would be more afraid deaf.
I love all the sounds in my world,the laughter ,the music,all of it,
My eyes have seen enough already,
I think I could FEEL THE GREATNESS of anything my eyes could behold!!
And I'd love to not have to look at this Mess!!!

I'd rather not see because I could always hear my loved ones one the phone when I'm away if I could still hear.

I would rather not hear, I'm afraid of the dark, I can't stand the thought of not being able to see what is happening around me, so the thought of being blind send's shiver's down my spine.
The only problem with that though, is that I love my music so that would be strongly missed.

Since I already am going deaf and it has its advantages some of the time - I would rather not hear.

I would rather do both. If I had to pick one though it would be hearing. If I couldn't see I couldn't watch my beautiful nephew grow up.

rather not hear because i like to read, write, and draw and emails and junk so i'll still need my sight and even though i love my music i can do without it and not be blinded to what's going on even without hearing.
