When Fertilization Occurs

2016-10-21 12:23:34 · answer #3 · answered by ? 4 · 0 0

some women feel cramps when they ovuate, but thats not fertalization, only the egg being released from the ovary. Some women get a slight pain during implantation, which happens a few days after fertilization. But the act itself cannot be felt, it happens durring or directly after intercourse, and only the egg is effected.

I used to feel a slightly painful twinge while I was ovulating. Eggs are not fertilized in the ovary.

Some women have said that they had implantation pain and/or bleeding(usually brown spotting) at the time of conception so yes you can feel slight pain...Just remember that once you have sex fertilization doesn't occur until about 10 days after when the sperm finally makes its way to the egg. That would be when it would implant and you'd feel possible pain or notice spotting. Good luck to you.

You can feel slight cramping with ovulation, implantation, and your uterus stretching to accomodate a baby. I'm not sure which one you're having.
