I have learned that in order to be respected I must have respect for my self. I have learned that I must be true to my self and do the best I can to the best of my ability. I feel I must be honest, be kind and care. I agree with you whole heartedly that we must not take anything for granted. When we do we are neglecting all of the things I have listed above. I'm thankful for everything I have. When you ask how I learned this, I have to say I owe my life to my Granny. She was a poor hillbilly from Tennessee but she was my shining example. My mother passed away when I was 8 years old. My Granny was my perfect person in all the world. I'm now 71 years old and I think of her everyday.

Knowing that I can get spiritual answers to my prayers. I know that revelation is real and the promptings I receive are always correct. I don't have to worry about if I am doing the right thing because the Spirit has confirmed to me with a calm and peaceful inner assurance that I am doing the right thing. On the contrary, the Spirit also tells me with confusion and bad feelings that what I am doing is wrong. I often wondered about what I read in the scriptures until I put them to the test and I got the results predicted. I then knew them to be true and correct.
God lives and He loves us and will give us guidance if we seek for it. That gives me balance in life and the confidence to move forward.

Most important thing I have learned is that when you enter a relationship, you'd better damn well expect more from yourself than expectations of your significant other.
