wear your dress but tone it down possibly dark fitted jeans underneath with heels or flats? (black) or mabey a little cropped sweater or jacket over top. or both, a great school look. and get really relaxed jelery its just thanksgiving.and i dont think leggings would look very nice for thanksgiving so dont do that unless your absolutely sure.. oh i just got an idea a simple strand of pearls , or long pearls looped once and knotted half way down. i think im gonna have 2 go buy this outfit, good luc!

I live in London, so I don't know how people dress in the states. However, if the cut of that black dress was quite simple, I would wear it with black footless tights, black or red peep toe high heels and a nice little cardigan or shrug, maybe put your hair in a pony tail with a slight bump on your crown. sorry if this sounds totally deluded!!!

I think a little black dress would be fine, BUT keep it simple. Too much 'bling' or you know eye catching things and you will stand out. Pair it maybe with some boots instead of heels, so its not too dressy, if you can. Good luck :)

wear festive colors: berries, golds, jewel tones. Most of all, wear something that YOU will feel comfortable in! I would wear a cute sweater with a skirt or director's pants. Nothing too revealing! It's his family!

throw out the dress and get some nice slackes and a nice blouse . because who's to say it might be cold that day and if it does you will already have your pant and you can just throw on a blazer coat
