Surf from home, not from work/school.

And you should probably choose a user name other than your e-mail address, or you're going to get spammed up the pooper.

Your personal web surfing will have to wait until you get home from school or work. Attempting to get past the school or company Internet filtering system is a violation of computer usage policy. You will get fired from your job or detentions or suspension from school.

I get past this by connecting to a home PC and using remote desktop (RDC) through there. It's harder to browse, inconvenient, and slower but at least I can go on MySpace.

I'm sure someone out there has a better solution than the one I do but that's how I get around my company's firewall.

If RDC is the way you want to go, then check out this article from Microsoft (I'm not sure how to do it on Macs). It'll tell you from start to finish how to get it setup.

You can't. It's there for exactly that reason.
