Bring a CD player to work. Turn the volume all the way up and start playing zeppelin songs until he gets sick of them. Let him see how destructive this can be to your work. He will either get the message or fire you then. Either way you won't have to listen to zeppelin songs or hear how they rule any more. A real win / win situation there.

Realize that if you were the boss, you could say whatever you want too. He's got a right to his opinion, even if it IS outdated. So, it really depends on you and what you WANT to do about it. If you want to score points with him, maybe look up some of their songs, and see if there's one that you happen to like & tell him so. If you don't want to score points, just go about your job. I worked in a small factory, and the boss used to post raunchy jokes on the wall by the timeclock. I didn't like it, so I just learned to overlook it. Jobs are hard to come by. Unfortunately, idiots are not. <*)))><

Agree with him I suppose, although I hate it when people talk about bands as a singular. Zeppelin rule, no?
