8.2 seconds because the second decimal figure is more than 5 so you are able to convert the 1 into the next highest number which of course is 2.

8.2 seconds. Like with general decimals when rounding up anything 5/.5+ then you round up to the next whole section.

8.2 seconds... U look at the number after the d.p you want to round to - in this case 0.06 so 0.06 is rounded to 0.1 so u add that to the original number = 8.12 if it had been 8.4 then you look at the 0.04 and any number that is smaller than 5 rounds down to 0 so it stays the same - 8.1

Hope this helps :))

8.2 seconds because the next number along is more than five, so you round up the one before it. If it were lower than five you wouldn't round it up and it would be 8.1.

If the second digit after the decimal point is 5 or higher, first goes up one; if it's lower than 5 it stays the same.
