In my point of view Lara is better than Tendulkar

each of them Tendulkar and Lara are one among the greatest cricketers in this world.both of them have made individual records.as a whole more records are in the hands of tendulkar but lara is on his back trying to break records.Tendulkar have great records in ODI's whereas Lara has made records in test matches.so tendulkar is best in ODI's whereas lara is best in test matches.but since I'm an INDIAN I go with tendulkar.byeee

very difficult to tell.
both have their own positives n negatives.
tendulkar is more consistent than lara, but tendulkar fails to score in crunch matches, which lara does.
lara may be inconsistent, but when he is in good form he plays a really big innings, for e.g the 375,400 he scored.

Both of them are good. It is difficult to compare either of them. Both have been solid at times, and also inconsistent at times as well.

Recently, we discovered the Vintage Tendulkar in Malaysia. This was soon followed by Vintage Lara as well. So, it is difficult to say.

well both are best...still i think lara is the best.
sachin alwiz gives u a chance but when lara starts firin he will unstopble.
when it's lara day then he will win the match single handed, where as sachin will score a century still wnt be able to win matches by keepin his wicket safe.
when it comes to patience then there is no comparision coz lara is superior...just see his innings of 375 and 401

Both are best at their places. If Tendulkar is immortal in ODIs, so is Lara in tests. Even though Sachin has slowed down a bit but its lara who is unstoppable at the moment. Sachin is not able to perform at his best in the matches where he is needed the most unlike lara. Both are gr8 personalities and it is impossible to decide who is better. what sachin achieved in test cricket, lara achieved more than that in lesser appearance. What sachin achieved in one day int. difficult 4 lara to achieve. in both forms of the game, both r almost close 2 each other.
I believe sachin holds the edge because he has age on his side. lara will retire in a yr where sachin will go on for next 3-4 yrs. But at the moment its lara who is going with all the achievements. Answering this question is difficult for experts. We cannot decide but only give our views. I believe when they retire, go back to look their records and find it out for yourself. SEE YA. TAKE CARE

I strongly feel that Tendulkar is the best as he holds the record for most centuries in Test as well as One Day Internationals and also the record of most runs in One Day Internationals. He is also a utility bowler.
