I am sure we are monitored every second of every minute of every hour of every day of every week of every month of every year etc... because people are paid to do that sort of inane collation. You know, like sit and look out of windows with binoculars or watch cctv or go through garbage cans. Just in case...........

Nope. Being Gay or Lesbian in America and/or engaging in same-sex sex - with consenting adults, of course - are not illegal.
Becoming a GLBT rights activist was one of the major motivators for my no longer being fearful or worried about being Gay. Self-awareness, self-acceptance and visibility are the biggest weapons to fight intolerance and hate.

Not exactly, but I do wonder sometimes if someone somewhere is compiling personal profiles of us based on all the information about ourselves we post here...then flagging them for keywords...but that is just the conspiracy theorist in me talking I guess.
