I mean, when someone says "she's not conventionally beautiful" what does that mean? Is that just a euphmism for "not pretty"?

How are Catherine-Zeta Jones' looks "classical"? I think she looks kind of exotic.

It depends on who said it. They could mean that, or they could mean that she is attractive in a more exotic kind of way.
To me, conventional beauty is what is the norm, and accepted widely as being attractive. Someone who has unconventional beauty would be one who isn't that, but still attractive in their own way. For example, Catherine Zeta-Jones has that classic beauty, even if she's not to a person's preference in looks, you can't deny that she is an attractive woman. While someone like Milla Jovovich is a woman that some would find attractive, while others wouldn't because she is more exotic, and doesn't have the normal, classic, look.

Edit:
To answer your question, I think she has classic features. Look at her face shape, nose, mouth, etc... They are very similar to what you used to see on old movie stars, with the more delicate facial features, fuller more womanly curves, and simple yet elegant hair. She's not ever over the top, and she doesn't go for the trendy look. She very much follows the basics and traditional things for her fashion and beauty choices. It's not just about the face, but the over-all look a woman can achieve.

conventionally beautiful would mean tall, thin, clear skin, symmetrical features, pretty face.

I think a lot of supermodels are not "conventionally beautiful", they are strange looking a lot of times, but they are still beautiful, just more interesting or differnt looking.

Everyone else who answered this so far is wrong. In America, "conventionally beautiful" means blonde hair, blue eyes.

Different translations of the bible would suggest love and charity are synonmus. Examples found in.1st Corrinthians ch. 13 vs. 1-17 illustrate this many times. I would enjoy hearing from a scholar of the languages used in those past times to clarify my understanding. The story of the "World's Poorest Philanthropist", Gilbert "Harold" Ewing II (myself) is the reason for this querry. The " act of grace", or charity, reffered to in the news interview, has posited this question and I lack the sort of education to provide any insights of true value.

I think it's mostly about being proportional in your body and face.
