when you get pregnant everything in your tummy moves around to make room for the baby. you are at a stage in your pregnancy where things in your tummy are starting to shift up,sown, side to side. good luck and I would not be to worried. congrats on the baby.

It's normal. When I was first pregnant and the baby started kicking, it was a little bit painful. My obgyn told me that it was normal and that the baby is also trying to make room.
I love that part of pregnancy! Also you should know that the baby will also run their knees, arms, hands, and feet up against your belly and run it across that you'll actually see a bump move from left to right and vice versa. I also freaked out when I first had this happen to me...I thought that the baby was kicking repeatedly every 5-10 seconds and thought that something was wrong but the doctor told me that the baby had the hiccups. Good luck to you!
If the pain does persist though, let your doctor know. That's what they're there for, to help you with any questions and concerns that you have.

from my experience, at 16 weeks, you usually don't fell the baby kicking around your belly button. Its usually lower because the baby is not that big. And also, baby kicks don't usually hurt until they get big enought to start kicking your ribs, etc. It is probably something else. More than likely,it is nothing to worry about, but i would explain this to your doctor on your next visit.

It sounds like your baby is just kicking, but your uterus could be stretching to accommodate your growing baby. As long as you aren't having any bleeding or extreme cramping, your baby should be doing just fine. Maybe you have a little gymnist growing! Congrats!

could be just the baby moving or your body stretching if it gets worse I'd see your doctor but as long as your not having any terrible cramps or bleeding or any other signs of something being wrong I'd say it's all normal just bring it up to your doctor

If it's your 1st baby, you are certainly feeling movement early! You will be prone to all sorts of unusual aches, pains and strains as your body expands to accomodate your growing baby. Don't worry, you'll be fine!

It is probably the baby is a strange spot. They get themselves in the strangest uncomfortable places and you will be surprised the weird feelings you will feel. Just wait until they get under your ribs, that hurts!

the baby has to shift its position while inside your tummy, and you may feel uncomfortable during this period. just remember to bring this up in front of your doctor so that he can do an ultrascan on you to detect the pain!
