Here's a quick lesson on the difference between a gigabyte, megabyte, and a kilobyte.

1 megabyte = 1,000 kilobytes
1 gigabyte = 1,000 megabytes

Therefore, you actually have about 20 megabytes free on your MP3 player, which is about 4 songs.
