If I understand your question, Catholic Community Services runs social programs (in fact even has a foster parenting program set up with certain States). They hire non Catholic and Catholic people to run their programs, so is it faith based? I thik it is, but they may beg to differ. Lutheran Community Services in another. Writing an essay on all of them may be too difficult. Can you chose one or two? You may find the link I am going to send you intersting, it is someone elses essay.

Not really clear on your question.. are you looking for info on which faith based orgs offer social services...
Such as The Salvation Army, Catholic Charities, UMCOR, etc.
