Besides the numbers and names being sewn on and prices, the sleeves are different on the two jerseys. On replicas, they are loose, but on authentic jerseys, the sleeves are tighter. the necks are also not as droopy on the authentic ones. If you go onto nflshop.com you can see the differences.

go to nflshop.com they seperate each kind of jersey, real authentic jerseys will run you around $200 their made of a heavier fabric than the replicas you can tell the difference just by looking at the picture, the numbers are screen printed on a replica and stiched on for authentics
if you are sold on pure authentic and nothing else look out for the premier jerseys which are in the middle of replicas and authenics but side by side you cant tell the difference there as well. those are about $100

Go to your teams website, and click on the NFL store. There you will find a whole assortment of authentic and replica jerseys. Authentic jerseys by the way run in excess of 300 dollars.

well authentic jerseys run about $100 a pop at least depending on where you go...the numbers and names are sewn
probably 99 times out of 100 when you see someone wearing a jersey its a replica (screened) and can run anywhere from $50-$70

Authentic is definitly the way to go. It will last years longer than any replica. I recieved an authentic about 10 years ago, have worn it to many games including playing in pick up games myself and it looks as good as new even though Greg Lloyd has been retired for many years.
Also if you go to NFL.COM you should not have to worry about getting ripped off.

what's the point in getting an authentic jersey lately except your going to get one in all a retired participant. gamers get bypass from crew to crew each and each and every of the time and then the jersey's a waste. only get a replica or a participant tee

real jerseys are expensive sometimes over $100. they are stitched letters and names. You will be able to tell just by the price and how it looks. dont buy it off of ebay or anything because u never know what ur gonna get. so only buy it off of official NFL sites or any sports store.
