dont go in for "any" nation.....
support your motherland.....
you should be proud of india and you shold make it proud of you by supporting our mother land rather than "any" other nations....
because ur a muslim hindu, if u want to support the muslims, have 1 of the countries deep in ur heart and support it with whole heart rather than a hole heart by saying "any"....

Your parents and neighbours may support Pakistan during a cricket match.
But the idea of a 'nation' is much more than a cricket match.
In the presenty scenario, as everybody knows, there are real issues that concerns both pakistan and India.
You may be well aware about the role played by Pakistani agencies in the terrorist attacks in India. Remember, terrorism is the greatest menace the world is facing today. I don't mean to say that Pakistan is the worst country and India is the best, but while comparing both these countries, anyone can draw the clear differences between the two as well.
You decide whom to support.
But cricket is surely different. Who can stop loving Abdul Rassaq, Inzy, Wazim Akhram orShuiab Akhtar ?

Do not mix religion with patriotism. India is a great democracy. India is the only country in the world where the three most powerful persons of the country, namely the President, the Prime Minister and the Chairperson of UPA do not belong to the majority religion. Can a Hindu become the President or Prime Minister of Pakistan?

this is the problem with most indian muslims.

look at your own question - you are 'indian muslim'

India comes first, I am an indian hindu - I live in London but so far I have not changed by passport and never will - because i am proud proud to be Indian - ok

you were born in india, you live there, eat there, breath there, you studied there, it is India that gives you the freedom and the love that you are receiving today, dont you feel proud for that ?

why do you want to support Pakistan ? who support terrorists and blow bombs in YOUR COUNTRY.

please dont be desh drohi. support your country in all means

be a true indian.... thats all i can say.

Well as you said that your family supports pakistan, but if u became some great cricketer then with which team are you supposed to play?? Isnt it india? Suppose u got selected in team then i m sure ur parents will support indian team, SUDDENLY! Doesn't it sound opportunistic?

I really appreciate that you came fwd with such question and believe me, elders are not always right! By supporting another nation, i dont think u can be part of main stream! U'll always feel uncomfertable in society, whether it is school, college or office!

And see, (may be u may have told some thing opposite to my version) India gave equal chances to every one regardless of their religion...

You are an indian and so why shouldn't you support india.the indian team has got muslims who play for india's sake.In fact in pakistan not all act like muslims.religion doesn't play a part in sports. In religious terms, there is no restriction for us to support our home country in a game.

i m stunned that 95% of indian muslims supports pakistan when there is a cricket match between india and pakistan and feeling very bad. i think that every muslim in india supports and love india before this. but now stunned that these type of terrible conditions prevails in our country and truly i m unable to digest what u had said. i m an hindu and my sometimes my heart goes in favour of pakistan and even i bet on pakistan's winning .because i like dignity and tehzeeb of muslims.even my favourite cricket player is abdul razzaq. and i have heard of moments when india tours pakistan, i have heard on radio by peoples that pakistani peoples treats them as their brothers and offer them free food and gifts.
indians in pakistan i mean indian hindus in pakistan applaud pakistanu peoples hospitality.
well i fell really stunned ur comment.
if u want to tell me something more about indo-pak then u can mail me at anandsharma021@yahoo.co.in.
i feel happy if u share ur opinions with me and also thankful to u.
well........... i tell u something that i feel that india and pakistan are like brothers and if two brothers fights ....................it cant be termed as an divison of their relations because they r brothers ....real brothers.

Your confused state really astonishes me. Take my case: I am born and braught up in India and earn my living here, too. So was the case with my parents. And so was the case with my ancestors for many generations past. Our body is built up out of the earh, the matter that belongs to this land--I eat the food and the salt of this land. All my body and my life therefore belongs to this land. I cannot think of my loyalty to be with any other country. How can YOU be in doubt ?
