I know I sleep better with my head facing either north or South.
The only time it didn't matter was when I was in the Navy sleeping on board the ship, but the steel ship kept compasses from working, so I imagine it sheilded me from the earth's magnetic field enough... Of course I needed to slept in line with the keel when I was on ship...
I don't know of any scientific evidence one way or another...

Depending what "culture" you consult, you should sleep with your feet toward sunrise, or head toward sunrise or a number of other beliefs. I tend to align the headboard of the bed to be parallel with the walls in my bedroom which I'm sure has nothing to do the the magnetic field in my bedroom. If your question is if the magnetic field affects our sleep patterns, I would say no. Our body has no magnetic field. No matter how much I try, I can't get a compass to point at me.

The Earth's magnetic field is somewhat detectable! It doesn't impact you. you may want to be uncovered to something like 5 years of earth's magnetic field in 10 seconds by way of putting a cellular telephone for your ear and making a telephone call! and that i doubt those enviro chips will give up any of those dozens of radio and tv alerts passing by your body today. i might want to assert that enviro chip is a waste of money!

For some people, if they have got used to sleeping at home in a particular compass direction (mine is with my head north-east), then sleeping somewhere else for a night or two is no problem if you can lie down pointing the same way, but not very good if you are pointing the wrong way. For other people, it makes no difference.
