A bluetooth device on a PC should install a Bluetooth COM port during its installation routine. Its almost like a legacy emulator.
I assume you've got a PC with either a bluetooth dongle or its already built in.
You will need to set up the bluetooth device properly including setting a BT name for the BT device (sorry got bored with typing Bluetooth). Without knowing what hardware you're using its difficult to tell you what to do.
Once its installed, make sure that the PC isn't hidden nor the phone (in respect to BT).
Open PC Suite
It runs a "Get Connected" routine which should work ok.
It is a bit tempermental though.
If all goes wrong... turn off PC, turn off phone, remove bluetooth device (if possible), then PC on, start the BT device (you may need to reinsert) then turn on the phone and go through the PC Suite connection routine again.

Hope this helps

Nokia PC Suit works on USB Bluetooth Dongle. The pairing of two devices i.e. your computer and your phone is important.
First of all, ensure your computer is updated with Windows 2000 with service pack 3 or service pack 4 or Windows XP with Service pack 1 or Service pack 2.

Please visit the link provided below to download the latest version of PC Suite for your phone (if you don't have one)

http://www.nokia-asia.com/nokia/0,,78344,00.html

Now, install and connect the phone in following steps:

1. Install the Bluetooth dongle, if the computer does not have an inbuilt Bluetooth facility. While installing the Bluetooth driver please ensure to plug the Bluetooth dongle to the computer.

2. Install the downloaded PC Suite software and restart the computer.

3. From the 'Control Panel' select and open 'Add new hardware', click on the 'Next' button.

4. Windows will search for the new device, and then would prompt for an option. Select 'No, I want to add a Bluetooth wireless device' and click 'Next'. Follow the prompts to complete the installation.

5. Now pair the two Bluetooth devices. Switch on the Bluetooth of the mobile phone. Name the Bluetooth device and set the visibility as 'shown to all'.

6. From the 'Control Panel' open the 'Nokia Connection Manager' and then select 'Bluetooth connection' method. If any other connection is selected, deselect the other connection methods. Click on the configure button and the Nokia Connection Manager would search for Bluetooth devices.

7. Select the device which we need to connect and press the 'Next' button. In the next page you would find an option to give the pass code for the Bluetooth connection.

8. From the phone you would see the phone prompting for the pass code. Give the same pass code and accept the connection.

9. After this pairing, the phone would establish the connection with the computer. If we do not want to do this pairing every time we want to connect the phone to the computer, select the list of paired devices and press the option to set the authorization.

10. You can start the PC Suite and select 'File transfer' application to open the 'Nokia Phone Browser' to transfer data from the computer to the phone or vice-versa.

It is very simple... first connect your phone using your USB bluetooth to your PC and then click on the PC suite in your PC... you will be asked to write a name of your phone and you will connected to your PC. Don't worry about the seriel port as mentioned in Nokia.com. Because when you installed the bluetooth on your pc. It creates some virtual bluetooth serial ports.... you can check those in device manager...

Most Blue tooth Dongles are USB. You can use Data Cable supplied with Nokia High end phones, but that too is having one end as USB. It is hard to find Serial port /Com port Dongle or Data Cable.

You need to attach a bluetooth dongle to the usb port of your computer, if it does not come with built in bluetooth adapter.
