Well, can a long distance relationship really mean anything just by talking to that person on the phone for about 7 years? Would you be able to know a person better who you know for almost 3 years both inside and outside and by being with them or someone that you would talk to on the phone only for 7 years? Which one would have more of a chance to end in a long term relationship and why?

you'd know the person better that you have been with in person. There is so much non-verbal communication that goes into knowing someone. People can hide behind a phone and tell you lies because they don't have to look you in the eye or be right there to be called on it... The phone is good for maintaining relationships when there is distance, but the relationship really needs to be there before it goes to the telephones.

if you are talking to someone on the phone for that long and never actually seeing that person at least they are with you for your personality and not just for the pyhsical attraction, and the chances are you can talk about more things purely because of the fact that they wont be able to see if you get embarrassed, so yes you can get to know someone just by talking to them on a phone

depends on how you feel, i got a long distance relationship, i know this guy for about 6 years, i was his girlfriend in my country for about 2 years then i move to usa,,, so i had no comunication with him for about a year, then he called me and we start having a long distance relationship, we chat, we tak on the phone, and i believe him, a long distance relationship will always work if both of you got comunicacion and trust each other.

I think you can KNOW the person, but beyond that i dont know. i think you really have to meet the person you could end up in a relationship. But just like ppl on the net, you dont really know if they are lying 2 you or not, so just be careful.

obviously u cn never fully trust sumone whom u only speak on the fone.. he maybe talking to lots of other people, and theres no physical chemistry... "there's a difference between the man of your fantasies and the man in your heart".. whom wud you choose?

it would be the guy that you're with. come on, if the guy is all the way in another country, he might be double-crossing you already and you wouldn't even know it.
