and felt that natural couriosity to look but was afraid to in case the home owners saw you look. I would feel embarrest to be caught looking. would you?

2nd question....why do you think they do that? why no curtains on purpose when it is a large window at street level that you can easily see in? I personally would not like people to see in my windows just for privacy reasons.

I have often wondered the same thing. I open my blinds in the morning and close them at night. I like to see out but not for others to see in. And yes, I am curious about what's inside their home. I look.
Did you also know that you can tell alot about a person by what's inside their medicine cabinet? I look in everyone's medicine cabinet when I use their restroom for the first time.

Oh I am a big one on privacy, however a lot of people around here if you were close enough to look in there window do not be surprised if a gun or cops showed up....
Here windows are curtainless because of our views of the mountains. On the beach it was the views of the ocean.
If there is no view and no curtains I would not know why peeps would do this?
As far as looking in, I personally do not do this. I do expect the same curtsy, however peeps around here do not have anything better to do with there time....We even had someone stick there face in the kitchen window (the only window someone can do this from) yelling in here. Thought Mr. was going to shoot him, never seen him so mad before!

Good question....

I have walked and driven by houses with no curtains. It is a strange thing. I could never be inside of a house with no curtains at all hours of the day. I think some people do that for light and hopefully draw curtains or blinds at night. Others may not have the desire to not see outside and have no desire to be discreet. Not me. My blinds are drawn at all hours.

Yes, there are actually several houses in my neighborhood that don't have curtains. I say look if you want, in my opinion they know they are on display...so that's their problem if they don't want people looking in. I agree with you about not wanting people to see in my windows! I keep all blinds and curtains closed for that reason! Some people are different, I guess.

Well I have seen a bunch of no curtained windows but I have never went in to look unless it's my families house or mine!!!!

Most of the time it's because they want light or/and the window is too big!

i think so, at least had them pulled back or wide open.
i would definetly look in, maybe you'll see something good. Obiviously they don't care who looks at them, so there should no reason to be embarrassed. Would never stand and stare in or pull up a lawn chair and watch it like a TV.
Sometimes keep blinds completely open and don't worry about it, depending on what i'm doing, unless you have some wierdos around you know about.

1. Yes
2. They just moved in and haven't chose a window treatment, or are poor and don't have an extra sheet to cover the window.

1. Yes, quite often actually. I'm a very nosy person.
2. Too cheap to buy curtains, or too lazy to hang them...I guess
