Depends on the year of Saturn. I usually tell everyone to shop AutoZone, but they didn't help me this time! I just replaced a batter in my wife's 2003 Ion 3 - AutoZone didn't carry anything at all that was made to fit, and WalMart only gave two options. A two year free replacement ran $53.00 and a three year free replacement was $68.00 These batteries also give you 72 and 120 months of prorated replacement.
I went with the three year replacement since the battery in the car was new with the car and is three years old.

We just replaced the battery in our 2002 Saturn Vue (110000 miles - and my wife left the lights on).
The replacement was $68 + tax at Walmart.

average cost for battery is between 35 dollars and up. if you want a good one it will cost you, depending on the brand you buy to, a 35 dollar battery is just as good as a 75 dollar battery, just the one priced higher puts out more amps and more cranking power.
