He would be a scorpio. I personally don't think it's such a bad match. Surprisingly scorpio and sag can get along. Sag's are ethical and strong minded which scorpio respects. Both signs love to debate and analyze, and neither sign is selfish. Sag can bring in some light heartedness and humour, and scorpio can bring in some intensity and passion.
