I have a half dozen or more great domain names that I would like to sell. Just not for the $100 or $200 that I am offered at least once a week via unsolicited inquiries.

In some cases I have had the domains for almost ten years.

Online domain brokerage web sites don't do it for me.

I'm looking for an actual person, an agent or broker, to work with on commission.

I had a broker out of Chicago that almost sold one of my domains to Warner Bros. for $500K as recently as 2003 but he is no longer in the business.

Some people did make money out of domain names a few years ago. Not so much these days.

There are just too many extensions to choose from, for anyone to be bother to pay thousand of dollars for a domain name.

You will also find that if you have a domain name relating to someone business, they can take you in court and force you to hand it over.

The law has changed in the last 10 years. Go to Network Solutions and read the fine prints.

I have a friend who was holding a domain name for 5 years which had the name of a popular stamp dealer. My friend is also a stamp dealer and he was playing silly bugger by having his own website re-directed to that name. What he was trying to do of course was to force the other guy to buy the domain from him for big bucks.

The other guy did lodge a complaint with Network Solutions and my friend had to hand over the domain to him for free.
