Can having a flat tire warp a rim? No. yet utilising on it for any distance after it is going flat confident can. you could wreck out with utilising VERY slowly off the line, yet in no way any distance at street speeds. So, sure, that should be adequate to do it. purchase the recent rim.

all rims get hot when your driving. Its normal. And thinking that your rear tire is flat after hitting a bump is just being paranoid.

well it either means that you bent your rim which eventually your tire will go flat or it could be that you left your emergency brake on while driving and it made your rim hot and drove like your back tire was flat

Your rim gets hot from the heat coming from your brakes.......sometimes a bend rim will heat up due to friction. The noise you are hearing is from the bent rim or you tire maybe out of balence or damages............Try getting your tire balenced first, this is a cheap way to find out for sure whats wrong............

could have broke something under there that not visible to eye,i.e.brake, upper or lower ball joint. bring it to a garage to be put on lift to see what the damage is. if you hit a bump or a hole then something did brake.could be the brakes in your rear drum are possibly are rubbing on something to cause the tire and rim to heat up. bottom line is that, it's not good.

There is a fair amount of heat build up in the tires when you drive,do you have the correct tyre pressure? the only other thing I can think of is that there might be a broken steel belt in the tyre,. they show up as lumps on the tire wall..Hope this helps.
