I keep having dreams..4 nites in a row now about my ex. He joined the Army a few years ago and is now in Korea from what I've heard. In a few dreams, I dream that he comes back to visit me. In last nite's dream, I dreamt that I saw him but he didn't look anything like himself and I dreamt that I wasn't attracted to him but I still wanted him. These dreams are digging up old memories that bring back heartache. What do they mean?

I wouldn't read too much into it, unless you want to. I honestly dream about my ex probably more than I dream about my current relationship, but then again I see him everyday. I haven't even so much as spoken to my ex in over 6 years and I pretty much hate his guts and had a short but bad break up, which I initiated. It's just memories that you are able to suppress in waking thought that creep in subconciously during the dream phase. Why do I dream about looking in my back yard and seeing a heard of baby giraffe? Who knows, but I don't try to read anything into it!!

Dreams are symbolic. Could mean that you are remembering the things about him you admire, which could help you in future. Could have been a 'visitation' dream, where God forbid he has died and came by on his way to the spirit world to visit with you. Could be that in some way your mind has accepted him as your friend now, instead of as a bf. Could mean you are about to meet someone new, and your mind was playing a refresher course for you to remind you of qualities you once liked.

Dreams are the subconsious integrating with the conscious
mind during sleep....They often bring up some unresolved conflict
that your mind is trying to work out..They usually involve the integration of emotions and often make no sense..

They might mean you still love him and want to be with him. Don't beat yourself up though if he don't feel the same way. There are plenty of good men out there.

It generally means that you miss him (no matter how many times you've told yourself that you don't) and that somewhere in your subconscious you keep thinking of him - it could possibly mean that you're still attracted to him

It is your sub-concious telling you that something was left undone.
