I love the Christmas spirit. But I start whistlin' Christmas carols in September. Being around friends and family...seeing everyone in a smiling and jovial mood. Giving, but not worrying about what to get people. Volunteering, being home, and SNOW!

I don't like the commercialized portion of the season and the fact that only a week after Halloween the mall already had it's decorations up.

It's become too commercial. Wish the gift giving thing could just go away and we could just enjoy getting together with the family to share a little love.

It means spending time with my family and loved ones. Its watching the smiles on the kids faces when they see what santa brought them. Its watching everyone laugh and smile...Its drinking a bloody mary early in the morning..haha....Its watching the dogs run around with bones in their mouth. Its a time where you dont think of work or anything other than family.

a mix of things. there's the obvious, excitement, joy, happiness, but also cold, loneliness, and thoughtfulness. it's a pretty conflicting time of year for me, on one hand it's very introspective, especially where I live, but on the other everyone's hyper and happy, and seasonal. so yeah.

bills and debt - loneliness - but also memories of happier times - family - friends - cards - broken toys - no batteries - wrong size batteries - clothes - dreams - happy children - exhausted adults - taking up and taking down Christmas decorations -
