Yes it has! It gets worse each day. The media, parents and social attitudes in general are slowly losing the battle against decent, civilised behaviour. Drugs and alcohol abuse does not help, either.
I have watched a smart part of town give up painting over offensive grafitti on boutiques and shops....it is a nightly occurence now. What to do?
Wish I knew the answer, apart from more police on the beat.

Interesting question. And something I have noticed too. As for myself, I have always been uncomfortable around people. Family and friends seem to be more that way nowadays. No idea why, but it seems that people get off of work, go home and don't go out as much as they used to. Might have something to do with the way business has changed over the last 30 years. People doing the job of 2-3 workers as business tries to increase profits. The world has changed a lot since my high school days and not in a good way imho.

Anti-social....no., I think it is more that we have become pro-self. If every single person in America woke up one day and decided to put everyone else before themselves, we would probably see a good amount of our nations problems resolved on that one day.
