Write to the Queen at either Buckingham Palace or Windsor Castle. Her secretarial staff will read your letter & reply if a reply is considered appropriate. I understand that the Queen picks a number of letters every day at random from the incoming mail to read personally. Unless your letter is really unusual it is unlikely to get past the staff.

People normally address letters to Her Majesty the Queen, Buckingham Palace, London SW1A 1AA. Provided that it is a polite letter, I think people invariably receive replies not from the Queen herself, but from one of her ladies in waiting, who will start by saying that she "is commanded by the Queen" to write to the person concerned. The Queen has a small team of secretaries to deal with her correspondence. I would imagine that many of the letters she receives are much of a muchness, and could be put into categories for which there is a standard reply, but presumably some would be singled out for personal attention. Go on, write! Otherwise you'll never know!

Write to HM The Queen at Buckingham Palace SW1. Provided you have something useful to say, you'll probably get an acknowledgement or even a reply. The queen has a small army of secretaries to deal with her mail. Your letter would need to be pretty convincing to be referred to the queen personally.

It is rcommended that you actually write care of her Private Secretary, Sir Robin Janvrin. She apparently takes a greater interest in letters from children (I'm not sure how old you are) but certainly does not read all her mail as there is too much. When I sent a photo my father had taken of Prince Philip about seven years ago, I had a reply from her secretary the next day saying she liked the photo very much.

Yes, you can write to the Queen. If it is thought of as something she might want to read, it is possible it will be referred to her. In any event you should receive an acknowledgement of your letter in due course from her staff. Just address your envelope to Her Majesty Qreen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace, London. England. Remember the stamp.

I don't thik she would read it herself. It will be read by one of her staff, who will also reply on her behalf.

You can send the letter to either Buckingham Palace or Windsor Castle

Just imagine how many letters a day that woman gets. I seriously doubt that she reads any but from the most closest of friends. You most likely wouldn't even get a reply from a secretary. Save the postage.

Her full address is on the British Monarch Website. I think her postcode is SW1A 1AA. She might read it herself but I don't think she'll reply. I want to write to her too but I haven't got round to it yet.

Don't waist the stamp, she will never read it, all the mail is read by her army of aids, who deal with everything, the only way you would get an answer that said it was from her was if the royal family were to get some good press out of it

Write to her at Buckingham Palace - probably her personal/private secretary will read it and might pass it on.
