our maid who toke care of my baby is keep on using her cellphone texting to her friends. i want her full attention to my baby who is learning to walk. i told hjer several times but she is hard headed.

Why do you want to destroy her cell phone? Why not just shoot her in the head? That'd teach her...

Have you voiced your concerns to her about this? If so and she continues to do it - fire her! Hire a new maid and explain right off the bat that cell phone usage is off limits unless in an emergency. Your the boss! Lay down the law!

A fun AND easy way... jump up and down on it, or throw it at a wall.
Or, if it's on a table, put a drink down next to it. When you go to pick the drink up again, 'accidentally' knock it over. Red wine would be good, or a really thick milkshake...!

I wouldn't damage her personal property, you may end up buying a new cell phone, but it could accidentally fall in the toilet.
