A freind of mine has the ability to image something and then focus it onto someone. For example he could say in his head "I love you" and then get an image of a person and that person then understand what he said!

It's really really strange! But so true. Problem is he can't control it and does things randomly. Is there anything he can do to stop it from happening?

I know he can do it because he has done that to me! So I know what he is saying in his head without him speaking it. You can tell because his veins in his head start showing and he gives you this look... It's strange but you can hear his thought. The problem is he got so addicted in doing it because it has its advantages like when he wants to chat-up a girl which always works. He is addicted to it and cant control his thoughts. He said he "loves me" and then appologised verbally to me as he knew what he said and I know he is not Gay (Nether am I).

It just like poping a short message into someone. It's really weird. He has done this to other people.

Myst, I think this gift has turned into a curse. He doesn't want to be able to do those things. He keeps pinging his thoughts which has now become VERY random as he cant control his thought. He told me it hurts when he controls it and hence he needs to release thoughts from his brain to relive him of the pain. You can see it in his head because his veins start sticking out.

I feel sorry for him there must be a way he can stop the pain in his head so that he wont need to keep releasing thoughts to relive the pain.

It is a proven fact that some people can pick up extra sensory signals, and there are some coincidences that are too extraordinary to be just imaginings. For instance some people know (without any way of knowing) that someone has died or something has happened well before the news reach them, or people pick up the phone to speak to someone whom they have not been in touch with for a while and just as they are about to dial the phone rings and it is the very person they were going to contact at the end of the line.
I have a friend with whom we went out for a meal and who said half way through "My brother has just died". He was younger than her and there was no reason for her to even think of him at that moment. Later she was informed he had had a fatal road accident at the very moment when she made her remark. So yes minor telepathy does exist.
As for the second part of your question. No, it cannot be controlled. Either you have this second sight or you don't and it happens without your being able to control it or rationalise it.
Ignore those that scoff. Some people never miss a chance to gain points with unfeeling replies.

I have schizophrenic mates, very nice, safe people except they hear voices in thier heads and experience similar things to your friend. A good mate of mine was exchanging jokes and funny remarks with an american in his head for two days, but it's just psychosis. The brain is capable of almost any trickery. Im not a schizophrenic myself as such, but during a psychotic episode I believed i was in contact with my soulmate telepathically and i was waiting to meet her. I was also impounded by (pleasant) pictures of what i thought were the faces of different chicks who had fallen in love with me. I think it's something similar that your friend is experiencing. If he starts to "telepathically" experience disturbing things, urge him to go to the doctor.

Dunno, telepathy may well exist but it's not always pleasant. Keep an eye on him

I NORMALLY would have said no.

EXCEPT, that ever since Ive been with my boyfriend of 12 1/4 years we have been able to KNOW and I mean, truly know what the other was thinking. Is has freeaked us BOTH OUT on MANY Occassions. Ive even known what he JUST finished eating for lunch as I called him on the telephone. And thats not from years of knowing someone, thats from the very get go of having met him. We have always been connected and Im perfectly aware of how ODD and bizzare that sounds. We arent sure why it is, if its me, or him or both of us responsible for the connection, but its there and no matter how unscientific it may be, we havent been able to deny its happening. I will even humm a song that he has had on his mind all day long. Its just, little things like that and those little things, happen ALOT. TOOO often to be dismissed as coincidense or synchronicity. Unfortunatley, I find myself being prejudice against other people who claim to be able to do the same thing. I dont know why I doubt others who say they can do the same, but I do know that it happens with my bf and myself, and recently, since my mom has been living with us, Ive noticed her saying things that Ive been thinking, as Im thinking them. But Ive not told her, because selfishly, Ive wanted this connection to be special , like....due to the relationship, but it may be something inherited. I know that when I was about 4 or 5 and we first moved to florida, I asked her int he car, at a redlight "Momma, how do you know what people are saying in their heads?" "How do you turn it on, how do you make it work?" and she looked at me in the rear view mirror as the light was changing and said "...you dont"

I believe in telepathy. There are all sorts of mysteries in this world people can't explain. If your friend has this then he will probably not get rid of it. Why would he want to? It's a gift. Or he could have some sort of mental condition, then he may need to consider professional help.

I believe in telepathy. Paranormal science has already proved that telepathy, as well as other abilities, does exist and it is very strong in some people, and not completely nonexistent in other.
I know telepathy can exist specially between people that have a strong bond, say a couple, parents and their children, etc.

Yep it's true. Some ppl are 'senders' and some are 'receivers'. He needs to learn to focus and deal with the gift responsibly.

I have some experiences in this area. However, when I try to replicate some aspects of this, it invariably doesn't work.

It might be something like having your BP read. Read it alone, and it's fine. Have it read by someone wearing a white coat, and it rises.

Sash.

There is NO limit to what the marvelous brain can do. We only scratch the surface of understanding it. Yes, I think it is real. Good luck. Pops

I do believe there is something in it - I think there's more to life than the things we already can prove - it's just a matter of time.
