Well, obviously you need quite a bit of guidance. Now, you are saying: "She is always on that site and is addicted to it" well without being on it all the time yourself you wouldn't know if she's on it all the time and addicted. Frankly, since you've gone to this length about a "name" she called you, you're the one who's seeming addicted. Are you afraid that the name she called you was true? Are you scared to return because she outed you with her name calling? Frankly, to get this worked up, and asking perfect strangers for their opinions about someone calling you a name is ridiculous. Do nothing. Especially since it's after the fact. Next time, do something immediately; stand up for yourself. Unless you don't have a leg to stand on (metaphorically speaking of course)

Block and Drop about all you can do, if, you were offended. Or, just let it slide. Maybe she meant it in a joking way, I not sure, as, I not know the conversation.
I know on here, sometimes I just enjoy joking on a question (When the same answer been given 20 times) and at times if it a woman I may insinuate sex or whatever. I not do this to be a pervert or hurt anyone's feelings, of course, I not use bad words either.

Nope.. Some people in chatrooms are just looking for a fight. Ask yourself if this is the hill you want to die on. (in other words, is it so important to you to right this wrong that you take a stand no matter the cost). Chances are, it isn't that important to you. And if that's the case, when you go back into that chatroom, you could report her and/or put her on mute, then ignore her. Orrrrrrrrr you could step up and confront her, but trust me, that will likely only fuel her fire.

I would seggest a few things. For starters keep records of all the messages. This way they can be used in a herrasment case if problems don't stop. Make sure to get a hold of the IP number. Do let the webmater know about the proble.

I have "visited" a few chat rooms just to see what was going on. I found that the obvious "name of the game" was to be as vulgar and nasty as possible. I don't waste my time listening or viewing that type of stuff.
IF a person is determined to visit those cesspools then he/she should be able to stand the heat. If not "get out of the kitchen". Good luck. Pops

Either confront her or just let it go. I suggest just letting it go. Take the road less traveled. If you confront her, chances are she'll just go at it again and you'll get into a huge argument or some such nonsense.

I'v had a simular thing happen to me; only the person wrote me a nasty rant of an e-mail.....I just let it go... confronting this type of person only makes them worse....just know that... what they put out will eventually come back to haunt them until they learn their lesson....don't let them bring you down to their level...chin up!
Blessed Be!

Why would you stoop to her level by responding? You might have noticed, it's only a computer. It's not like you were even talking to this woman face to face. It's nothing but words on a screen.

I'm not too familiar with chatrooms but if they have rules such as they have on YA and you can contact the owners I think I would.
But that's just me.
