Depending on how much water damage you mean, but the best thing to do is have a Licensed Electrician look at the Electrical work you think may be a problem.

call the electric company or you can get a tester and check it youself the best way is to stick a knife in the socket lol (don't do that)

have it inspected by an electrician from your power company
